As requested by the Yunesit’in First Nation, Legacy Tourism Group has worked with the Chief and Nation on several projects since 2016 including concepts, business plan, development and ultimately the successful opening of a Guesthouse in the community.

Market Feasibility Study and Concept Plan Proposal.

As requested by the Yunesit’in First Nation, Legacy Tourism Group created a Taseko Lake Resort Concept and Business Plan for a four season, high-end wilderness resort with activities appropriate to the region and culturally authentic to the Yunesit’in First Nation.

2016

Taseko Lake Acquisition.

The Yunesit’in Government asked Legacy Tourism to review a potential asset acquisition as well as greenfield development potential in their territory.

Bed & Breakfast Business Plan.

The Yunesit’in Chief asked Legacy Tourism Group to develop a business plan to support their plans to build a guest house in their community. They were successful at obtaining funding from a traditional lender based on the business plan developed.

2018

Yunesit’in Government Guest House Operating Guidelines.

The Yunesit’in Government asked Legacy to help develop their operating guidelines and standard operating procedures, including in-person staff training. Full operational procedure guidelines were implemented for front office, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services including COVID compliant operational protocols.

2021

Yunesit’in Government Guest House – Grand Opening Marketing Plan

LTG advised and assisted with the grand opening and launch of this new Yunesit’in Guest House in fall 2021 which included designing and launching a pre-opening marketing plan, new Guest House website and digital marketing assets, as well as set up of reservations and payment procedures.
